Common use of Force Account Clause in Contracts

Force Account. Works under Part B of the Project which meet the requirements of paragraph 3.8 of the Guidelines, and costing $5,000 equivalent or less per contract, up to an aggregate amount not to exceed $100,000, may, with the Association’s prior agreement, be carried out by force account in accordance with the provisions of said paragraph of the Guidelines.

Force Account. Works under Part B of the Project which meet the requirements of paragraph 3.8 of the Guidelines, and costing estimated to cost less than $5,000 30,000 equivalent or less per contract, up to an aggregate amount not to exceed $100,000, may, with the Association’s prior agreement, may be carried out by force account in accordance with the provisions of the said paragraph of the GuidelinesGuidelines provided, however, that the aggregate costs under Force Account shall not exceed 5% of the total cost of works under the Project.
