Common use of Foreign Exchange or Overseas Teaching Clause in Contracts

Foreign Exchange or Overseas Teaching. A leave of absence of up to two (2) years shall be granted to any bargaining unit member for the purpose of participating in exchange teaching programs, military teaching programs, or the Peace Corps as a full time participant in such programs. Any period so served shall be treated as time taught for purposes of the salary schedule.
