Foreign Teaching Leave Clause Samples

The Foreign Teaching Leave clause establishes the conditions under which an employee may take leave from their position to teach in a foreign country. Typically, this clause outlines eligibility requirements, the process for requesting leave, the maximum duration allowed, and whether the leave is paid or unpaid. For example, it may specify that leave is only granted for teaching assignments at accredited institutions abroad and that the employee must provide documentation of their appointment. The core function of this clause is to provide a structured framework for employees seeking international teaching opportunities, ensuring both organizational continuity and support for professional development.
