Common use of FOREST ROADS Clause in Contracts

FOREST ROADS. Logging roads, skid trails, bridges, watercourse crossings, and landings shall be constructed in a manner consistent with the goals of good forest management. Operations in or near sensitive or critical areas will be reviewed and approved by the Timber Sale Officer. The Sale Officer will use whatever means are necessary to insure that operations conform to the approved specifications. A. Roads and landings to be constructed or reconstructed by the PURCHASER shall be built and maintained in accordance with applicable Forest Practice rules. Except where more specific instructions are given elsewhere in this Agreement or in the Timber Harvesting Plan, roads and landings shall be constructed to the following specifications:
