Common use of Form of Assignments Clause in Contracts

Form of Assignments. Assignments of mineral Leases shall be upon forms prescribed and furnished by the Commissioner. The Commissioner's approval of an assignment shall be noted on all copies of the assignment. Assignments shall be executed and acknowledged in the same manner prescribed for conveyance of real estate and shall be filed in triplicate with the Commissioner. One original shall be recorded permanently, the second filed and the third returned to the assignee.
