Acceptance of Assignment. Subject to the terms hereof the Lessor accepts the assignment contained in this Section 2.
Acceptance of Assignment. Assignee accepts the foregoing assignment of the Lease [insofar (and only insofar) as the Lease pertains to the Assigned Premises] and covenants with Assignor, from and after the Effective Date, to pay all rent and other charges provided for in the Lease, as amended and to perform and observe all of the other covenants, conditions and provisions in the Lease, as amended, to be performed or observed by or on the part of Assignor as tenant under the Lease [in respect of the Assigned Premises].

If the employee has provided written notice to the Department Chair or equivalent academic unit administrator that the employee will be unreachable for a specific period of time, the employee and the Department Chair or equivalent academic unit administrator may confirm intended acceptance of the assignment before the employee is unreachable. Alternatively, if the notice of assignment is made while the employee is unreachable, and the Department Chair or equivalent academic unit administrator has agreed to the delay, the employee shall be permitted to provide notice of acceptance within one (1) week of the date the employee stated he or she would be reachable.
