Common use of Form of Policies Clause in Contracts

Form of Policies. All insurance required by Tenant hereunder shall be pursuant to policies in form and substance and issued by companies satisfactory to City and City’s City Attorney. City may, upon reasonable notice and reasonable grounds increase or change the required insurance hereunder, in which event Tenant shall obtain such required insurance. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, all Comprehensive General Liability Insurance, and Comprehensive Automobile Liability Insurance, policies shall be endorsed to provide the following: (a) Name as additional insured the City and County of San Francisco, the Airport Commission and its members, and all of the officers, agents, and employees of each of them (collectively, “Additional Insureds”); (b) That such policies are primary insurance to any other insurance available to the Additional Insureds, with respect to any claims arising out of this Lease, and that insurance applies separately to each insured against whom claim is made or suit is brought. (c) That the insurance company shall give thirty (30) days prior written notice to City of cancellation, non-renewal or reduction in coverage or limits, delivered to City at City’s Insurance/Deposit Notice Address.
