Formal Appeal to the Xxxx. Should the grievance not be settled to the faculty member’s satisfaction in possible informal discussions with concerned parties, the faculty member may submit a written statement with his/her xxxx within ten (10) class days of March 1. (a) the name of the grievant; (b) the statement of facts giving rise to the grievance; (c) the date of the initial submission of the grievance; (d) the relief sought. A copy of this grievance shall be filed with the PSU/KNEA President. After receiving the written grievance, the xxxx, after consultation with the appropriate chair or director, will have ten (10) class days to respond in writing to the grievant with his/her decision including a rationale.
