Common use of Fourth Principle Clause in Contracts

Fourth Principle. Personal data shall be accurate and, where necessary, kept up to date. All the information supplied will be obtained from signatories’ computer systems or paper records and subject to their own organisations reviews, procedures and validation. Any perceived inaccuracies should be reported to the contact at that agency for verification and any necessary action. Whilst there will be regular sharing of information, the data itself will be ‘historical’ in nature. Specifically this means that the data fields exclusively relate to individual actions or events that will have already occurred at the time of sharing. These are not categories of information that will substantially alter or require updating in the future. The exception to this will be that of the unborn child.
