Common use of Freedom of Exchange Clause in Contracts

Freedom of Exchange. The Contractor’s and its subcontractors’ expatriate employees shall be permitted, in accordance with the regulations then in effect in Equatorial Guinea, to freely exchange and to freely transfer to their country of origin any savings arising from their salaries, as well as any retirement and personal benefits paid by or for such employees, provided they have met their tax obligations in Equatorial Guinea.
