Freedom Outside the Performance of Professional Duties. 1. A member has the right to free speech, assembly, and petition. 2. A member has the right to protection from double jeopardy. 3. A member has the right to privacy for himself/herself and family, and freedom from harassment, intimidation, or threat. A member has all the rights of a private citizen and the private life of a faculty member shall not be utilized by the Board in matters related to the performance of his/her duties. 4. A member has the right to express a personal opinion as a citizen on any question as long as the member does not represent his/her views as those of the College.
