Freedom to Participate in Political Affairs. 14-3-1 The District recognizes that all Educators and other Educators may participate in all affairs of citizenship. Educators shall be free to take part in any political issue, or support and advocate in the interest of, any candidate for public office, except that such activity shall not be done during the time of day that school is in session nor include the time before and after the regular class schedule that Educators are obligated to use in their professional assignment.
