Freight Rates. For all shipments tendered by BROKER and accepted by CARRIER under this AGREEMENT, the rates, charges, and fees for the transportation and services shall be set forth in a Load Confirmation Sheet in a form provided by BROKER. Such rates and charges may be established or amended verbally (by telephone or other means) in order to meet specific shipping schedules, but such verbal agreements shall be confirmed in writing prior to loading of CARRIER’S truck with the property for transportation. Such written Load Confirmation shall include the charges for the shipment and shall also contain, as applicable, the conditions and any additional or accessorial services required to be performed. The Load Confirmation shall be sent by BROKER to CARRIER via computer generated facsimile transmission (FAX); electronic mail (EMAIL) or, alternatively by First-Class Mail prior to loading a load. CARRIER represents and warrants that there are no other applicable rates or charges applicable to the transportation, including those contained in any tariff, terms and conditions, or xxxx of lading, except those established in this Agreement or any Load Confirmation. For all shipments tendered by broker and accepted by carrier under this agreement, all detention, accessorial, and/or additional charges assumed by the carrier must be immediately reported as they occur. Such charges and fees may be established verbally in order to meet specific shipping schedules, but must be confirmed in writing within 24 hrs, via fax or email, in order to receive compensation. Failure to do so may result in exclusion from or reduction of compensation. CARRIER agrees and acknowledges that that CARRIER’S dispatchers and other personnel are authorized to enter into Load Confirmations with BROKER.

Freight Rates a. All rates quoted to customer either through the Global Forwarding Enterprises LLC .com website, via telephone, email or by any other means are valid at the time of quote only. No other period of time for its validity is express or implied. b. Air Freight rates are based on the greater of actual or dimensional weight. If an Air Freight shipment contains oversize freight, additional charges and transit days may apply. c. Terminal to terminal LCL ocean freight rates are on basis of w/m-weight or measure per cubic meter. d. Terminal to terminal full container ocean freight rates are flat rates that are in the selected carriers' rate tariff as required by the Federal Maritime Commission. If an FCL ocean shipment contains overweight freight, additional charges and transit days may apply.
Freight Rates. LTL rates are based on the freight class as determined by the NMFC (National Motor Freight Classification) which are based on the actual description, size, and weight of the shipment. Additional fees may apply for other charges including appointment delivery, reweighs and reclassifications, lift gate services, inside delivery or various other accessorial services. Truckload rates are based on dock door pickup/dock door delivery and shipper load/consignee unload and are state to state and mileage based. Additional fees may apply for charges including but not limited to, tractor detention, trailer detention, and driver assistance. Once the Company has contracted with a carrier to move a truckload shipment, the scheduled load must be tendered to the carrier as requested on the bill of lading at the agreed upon price, or equipment ordered not used (EONU) fee will be assessed. Air freight rates are based on the greater of actual or dimensional weight. If an air freight shipment contains oversize freight, additional charges and transit days may apply. Van line rates are driven by state to state/mileage, weight (actual or density) and commodity/product type. Flatbed rates are based on equipment type, state to state/mileage and weight. If a flatbed shipment contains oversize freight, additional charges and transit days may apply. All displayed transit times are estimates only and do not include day of pickup. Pickup dates are not guaranteed.

Shipper will compensate Carrier for such calls based upon the number of hours to deviate from the Vessels' return voyage from Kahului and the time at such additional port(s) required for discharge at the demurrage rates set forth in Subsection 5.8., below, subject to Shipper's ability to apply any unused laytime for loading/discharging on that voyage against such demurrage charges (unused laytime to be divided equally between additional port calls if there are two). In addition, Shipper shall reimburse for any port charges incurred at the additional port(s) of call. Shipper shall invoice each entity (MECO-Maui and MECO-Molokai) separately pursuant to instructions provided by Shipper. C. Freight Rates. Freight payable under this COA for any given voyage shall depend on the freight rate agreed upon with the particular customer under the applicable Customer Contract. Accordingly, the applicable freight rate payable to Owner for any given voyage shall be equal to the freight rate payable by the customer to Charterers under the applicable Customer Contract minus $0.10/MT. Concomitantly with the execution of this Agreement, Charterers, subject to the confidentiality terms set out hereunder (such terms to be supplemented by a confidentiality agreement to be executed by the parties), shall provide a copy of each of the Customer Contracts that are to be serviced, in whole or in part, with the Vessel pursuant to the terms of the present Agreement. In addition, Charterers shall provide a copy of any new Customers Contracts entered into after the date hereof, that are to be serviced, in whole or in part, with the Vessel. Owners shall not use the Customer Contracts nor the information contained therein (collectively the "Confidential Information") for any other purposes than the present Agreement and they shall not disclose to any person or entity other than Owners' representatives any portion of such Confidential Information and only to the extent that is necessary under the present Agreement.

Are current rates internationally competitive now? • Have rates from NE Asia to Australia risen sharply relative to rates from NE Asia to other destinations?
Freight Rates. 14.1 The rates agreed shall be inclusive of all charges such as Surcharge, Hamali, Statistical charges, Loading and Unloading enroute etc., excluding service tax and no extra claim whatsoever shall arise on any account over and above the accepted rates during the currency of contract will be entertained. Service Tax shall be paid extra on the basis of proof of payment as per prevailing rate as on bill date. Service tax registration no. is required to be mentioned in the bill. (i) For any station, distance up to 10 Km (as per Google Maps) from the nearest branch / franchise of the transporter (as per list provided by the bidder along with techno-commercial bid) collection / delivery charges shall be Rs 500/-. (ii) For distance beyond 10 Km (as per Google Maps) from the nearest branch/ franchise of the transporter (as per list provided by the bidder along with techno-commercial bid) shall be applicable for door collection / delivery charges. The bidder shall quote for door collection/delivery charges for the distance & weight slabs as given in the price schedule format as per Annexure-C. (iii) In cases, where Google Map fails to provide the information, distance shall be finalized by BHEL. 14.4 The RATES quoted will be “FIRM” for the entire period of contract. 14.5 Price offer should have a validity of at least 120 days from the date of technical bid opening.

  • Overhead Rates The Engineer shall use the provisional overhead rate indicated in Attachment E. If a periodic escalation of the provisional overhead rate is specified in Attachment E, the effective date of the revised provisional overhead rate must be included. For lump sum contracts, the overhead rate remains unchanged for the entire contract period.

  • Overtime Rates All overtime hours shall be compensated at the rate of time and one- half (1-1/2).

  • Wage Rates Contractor shall post a copy of the wage rates at the job site and shall pay the adopted prevailing wage rates as a minimum. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 1773 of the Labor Code of the State of California, the Board of Supervisors has obtained the general prevailing rate of per diem wages and the general prevailing rate for holiday and overtime work in this locality for each craft, classification, or type of xxxxxxx needed to execute this Contract from the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations. These rates are on file with the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors. The Contractor agrees that it will waive all applicable taxes and surcharges for Attendees listed on the Master Account Approval List, pursuant to the Hotel/Motel Transient Occupancy Tax Waiver (Exemption Certificate for State Agencies) form signed by the Judicial Council and included in this Agreement in Exhibit H.   • Night Differential An employee shall be paid a night differential, bi-weekly for hours worked between midnight and 7:00 a.m. at a rate of $3.00 per hour. Night differential worked during overtime will be paid at one and one-half (1 ½) times $3.00 and on statutory holidays at two (2) times $3.00.

  • Base Rates Attached to and made a part of this Agreement is Appendix A which sets forth the straight-time hourly rates for all employees covered by this Agreement.

  • Indirect Cost Rates The System Agency may acknowledge an indirect cost rate for Grantees that is utilized for all applicable Grant Agreements. For subrecipients receiving federal funds, indirect cost rates will be determined in accordance with applicable law including, but not limited to, 2 CFR 200.414(f). For recipients receiving state funds, indirect costs will be determined in accordance with applicable law including, but not limited to, TxGMS. Grantees funded with blended federal and state funding will be subject to both state and federal requirements when determining indirect costs. In the event of a conflict between TxGMS and applicable federal law or regulation, the provisions of federal law or regulation will apply. Grantee will provide any necessary financial documents to determine the indirect cost rate in accordance with the Uniform Grant Guidance (UGG) and TxGMS.

  • Night Shift Differential Unit 12 employees who regularly work shifts shall receive a night shift differential as set forth below: A. Employees shall qualify for the first night shift pay differential of forty (40) cents per hour where four (4) or more hours of the regularly scheduled work shift falls between 6 p.m. and 12 midnight. B. Employees shall qualify for the second night shift pay differential of fifty (50) cents per hour where four (4) or more hours of the regularly scheduled work shift fall between 12 midnight and 6 a.m. C. A "regularly scheduled work shift" are those regularly assigned work hours established by the department director or designee.
