FUNCTIONS OF MANAGEMENT PRESERVED. The management of the enterprise in accordance with its responsibilities and policies including the right to control operations; hire, promote, demote, transfer, suspend or discharge employees; determine complement and the number of employees required from time to time; schedule working hours; introduce new methods, equipment or facilities; extend, curtail or cease operations; and other normal functions of management are vested exclusively in the employer. The employer agrees such functions shall be exercised in a manner consistent with the provisions of this agreement.
