STRUCK WORK. No employee shall be required to add to his/her normal duties or functions so as to do or assist anyone doing any duty or function of any job of any employee on strike or lockout by any employer.

STRUCK WORK. The union reserves the right to its members to refuse to execute work that was to be produced by struck printing concerns where legal lockouts or strikes are in progress. No employees covered by this contract shall be required to cross a legal picket line established at The Citizen.
STRUCK WORK. The Company agrees that Employees covered by this Agreement will not be asked to execute struck work temporarily transferred from any Company whose employee members of the CEP are engaged in a legal strike which has been sanctioned by the Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union of Canada. This does not preclude the execution of work transferred from a struck plant by a customer or the completion of any contract work in progress outside a struck plant before any such strike occurs.
STRUCK WORK. 23.01 The Employer agrees that it will not accept work from a company whose employees, members of the CEP, are engaged in a legal work stoppage. 23.02 This does not preclude the execution of work transferred by a customer. 23.03 The Union will give the Employer notice of its intention to invoke this Article, and in any event, any work in progress will be completed without interference. 23.04 In the event that a dispute arises as to whether particular work is struck work, the parties shall meet forthwith to resolve the dispute. 23.05 Any questions with respect to this Article shall be referred to arbitration, rather than to proceedings being initiated before any other tribunal. 23.06 It is further agreed that any work forming the basis of a dispute under this Article will be processed without interruption, pending the decision of the Arbitrator. 23.07 Any question with respect to this Article may be immediately submitted to arbitration by either party to this agreement, utilizing the arbitration services provided by Arbitration Facilitators Group Inc., and the hearing shall be held within two weeks of the referral to arbitration. The arbitration hearing shall be expedited to the fullest extent possible, in order to obtain a speedy decision. The parties hereto will jointly bear the expense of the impartial arbitrator.
STRUCK WORK. The Company recognizes the right of Union members to refuse to cross a legal picket line of any union engaged in a legal strike or lockout.
STRUCK WORK. The Union reserves the right to its members to refuse to execute all work received from or destined for struck offices, publications or unfair employers where lockouts or strikes recognized or authorized by the Union are in effect or under circumstances which make the Employer an ally of the struck or unfair Employer. It is not intended that this section apply to advertisements received prior to notice to the Employer of such strike or lockout.

STRUCK WORK. 5.01 The employer agrees that no employee covered by this collective agreement will be asked to execute work received from or destined for newspaper offices where a legal strike of the communications industry unions (CWA and CEP) is in progress. 5.02 The union will give the company 24 hours notice that a strike or lockout is in progress before the processing of material may be stopped in accordance with the foregoing provision. The union agrees that any refusal to execute work will be governed and limited by this section.
STRUCK WORK. 6.01 The Union reserves to its members the right to refuse to execute any work which has been declared by the Union to be unfair. The Union further reserves to its members the right, as a matter of conscience, to refuse to cross a legal picket line.
