General Configuration Clause Samples
The General Configuration clause establishes the foundational setup and parameters for how a system, service, or project will operate. It typically outlines key settings, roles, responsibilities, and technical or procedural requirements that must be in place before work begins. For example, it may specify software versions, hardware requirements, or initial user access levels. This clause ensures that all parties have a clear understanding of the baseline conditions, reducing the risk of misunderstandings and facilitating smooth implementation.
General Configuration. SIROM is a device provided by four IFs with capabilities to transfer loads, data, power and heat. The generic design is divided in blocks that envelope each IF achieving a compact design. Data, Power and Thermal IFs are located in a plate called Connectors Plate, while Mechanical IF is on its own. SIROM must match another SIROM in one flange (SIROM standard IF is androgynous and coupling is done between two functional units), whereas an Active Payload Module (APM) will be fixed in the other. The idea is being capable of constructing a modular and scalable structure that will connect the APM to any spacecraft platform mechanically and provide data, power and thermal coupling. Furthermore, the connection between SIROM and the robotic arm is made by an End Effector, which must ensure the functionality of SIROM IFs.
General Configuration. The plastic composite marine timber shall have a square cross section with radiused corners. Both ends shall be cut square. It shall be seamless with a smooth outer skin. Ultraviolet (ASTM D4329) No more than 10% change in Shore D durometer hardness after 500 hours exposure Tensile Strength (ASTM D638) Minimum 500 psi at break Compressive Modulus of Minimum 40,000 psi
General Configuration. The vessel is a catamaran design with large aft work deck. The design shall maximize pilothouse visibility both forward and aft. Safety of crewmembers and equipment shall be of paramount importance. The vessel shall be constructed utilizing a standard hull form with well- known and proven performance, sea keeping, and handling characteristics. The vessel shall have twin screws, rudders and bow thruster. Sea conditions in the monitoring area are typically 3–4-foot swells, winds up to 10 knots, but operations do take place in seas up to 6 feet and winds up to 18 knots. Most monitoring activities require the vessel to remain on station up to one hour. The vessel is required to be as stable as possible with regard to pitch and roll. The design should consider maximizing the aft work deck area, minimum of 300 sq ft of working space, and keeping the deck as low to the water as possible for deployment and recovery of sampling equipment while maintaining adequate space to service the engines. The main cabin needs to include a separate laboratory and galley. The galley settee should accommodate at least six crewmembers. The laboratory space should include a 30-inch-long single basin sink, cabinets, and counter space for computers, workstations, and sample processing. One restroom with a wash basin needs to be incorporated on the main deck. A second restroom with shower and wash basin needs to be added on either main or lower deck (if space allows). Each restroom must have an exhaust fan and a floor drain for easy cleaning. Sleeping accommodations, work bench with vice, toolbox, storage, and possible second head shall be incorporated below deck. BUILDER to take into consideration future full electric conversion in design.
General Configuration. ✇Exaccta's Apps are developed in native languages, and are installed resident on the user's mobile device. It is not necessary that the user has internet connectivity to use the App, but the data captured through pictures by the user will only be synchronized with the user's private web environment once having connectivity. The user will be able to set on his mobile device, the following: ✇SYNCHRONIZATION: The user can choose between having permanent synchronization (wifi, 3G, 4G, ...) in which case the synchronization is done in real time, having all the App's functionalities, or select the "WIFI" option in which case the App's data will also be synchronized and saved in the user's private area only when the mobile device recognizes any wifi previously stored by the user. All the user's data apart from synchronizing between all mobile devices used by the user with the same login, are also stored as backup to all captured and stored information on the mobile device. ✇Picture or Gallery+Picture: The user will be able to choose between the options of capturing the pictures and touching the image to extract the data to be processed in real time, or take pictures, store them in the "film roll" of the mobile device, and then process them from the App, as taking a shot at that precise moment.
