The TxDOT On-Line Environmental Manual All surveys shall meet or exceed the standards set in the Professional Land Surveying Practices Act, the General Rules of Procedures and Practices promulgated by the Texas Board of Professional Land Surveying (TBPLS), and the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) TxDOT Survey Manual, latest edition, and shall be accomplished in an organized and professional manner, subject to the approval of the State. The State’s ROW Vol. 1 - Procedures Preliminary to Release, (online at: xxxx://xxxxxxxxxxxxx.xxxxx.xxx/txdotmanuals/ppr/index.htm) and the TxDOT Survey Manual, latest edition, will serve as a guide and shall be the basis for the format and preparation of all right-of-way documents produced, including Right-of-Way (ROW) maps, property descriptions (including parcel plats), and other Right-of-Way work products, unless otherwise specified by the State.
