Common use of General Construction Employees Clause in Contracts

General Construction Employees. (1) Company shall prepare the annual vacation schedule giving effect to the employees' selections where practicable and taking into consideration their Service. Vacations are to be scheduled in increments of one week or more, except that any employee may schedule up to five days per year in increments of one day or more. (Amended 1-1-80) (2) Company may schedule vacations by crews in the interest of economy and efficiency of operation. (3) If an employee elects to divide annual vacation into two or more periods on a sign-up schedule and it is practicable for Company to give effect thereto, such employee shall be given preferential consideration over other employees in the selection of only one of such periods.
