General Leave Payout Program. An employee may request to be paid for up to one hundred twenty (120) hours of general leave time in lieu of time off during each calendar year if he meets the following conditions: A. Before a request for payment can be made, the employee must have used at least eighty (80) hours for vacation time (no other types of use is allowed in this 80-hour requirement except for a KT holiday) in the 12 months prior to the request. B. After payment, the employee must have a minimum of sixty (60) hours general leave balance. C. Requests must be made in no less than 40-hour increments
