Common use of General Limitations Clause in Contracts

General Limitations. An individual, group or policy grievance cannot be presented (a) if another administrative procedure for redress is provided by or under any Act of Parliament to deal with the specific complaint, other than the Canadian Human Rights Act; (b) in respect of the right of equal pay for work of equal value; (c) in relation to any action taken under any instruction, direction or regulation given or made by or on behalf of the Government of Canada in the interest of the safety or security of Canada or any state allied or associated with Canada.
