General Principles of Application of this Agreement. The object of this Agreement is to clarify the principles which shall govern the application and maintenance of incentives based upon time study and the operation of this Agreement should result in benefits to both employers and employees. The Union officers are competent to negotiate conditions relative to the principles which shall operate if the system is applied, but they cannot negotiate acceptance of an application on behalf of members of the Union employed in any factory. The acceptance of an application is based on this Agreement can only be decided in the first instance by the employees themselves in the department(s) concerned.

  • Application of this Agreement 2.1 All facilities made available by the Bank to any Person in respect of a Card or a Card Account are subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement (as may be amended from time to time subject to prior notice) and any other applicable terms and conditions. A Person becomes subject to such terms and conditions (if not already so subject) by signing, activating or using a Card or permitting its use.
