Common use of General Relationship Clause in Contracts

General Relationship. Nothing contained in this Contract shall be deemed or construed to create a partnership, joint venture, agency, or other relationship other than that of contractor and customer. Seller is not an employee of Buyer for any purpose whatsoever. Xxxxxx agrees that in all matters relating to this Contract it shall act as an independent contractor and shall assume and pay all liabilities and perform all obligations imposed with respect to Seller’s employees. Seller shall have no right, power, or authority to create any obligation, expressed or implied, on behalf of Xxxxx and/or Buyer’s customers and shall have no authority to represent Buyer as an agent.
