Leave for supervisory position. Any employee offered a supervisory position by the Company, shall be granted a three (3) month “leave of absencein order to assess their qualifications for such position. Employees on leave under this provision shall continue to pay their regular monthly dues/deductions. At the end of this ‘assessment periodthe employee can choose to return, or the employer can require the employee to return, to the bargaining unit with no loss of seniority. This “leave of absence” provision shall be restricted to one application by an employee during their employment career with the Company.

  • Supervisory or Military Service It is understood service with the Armed Forces of Canada in time of war or compulsory military service, or service with the Employer as a supervisory employee does not constitute a break in the continuous service and shall not affect an employee's seniority rights.

  • Supervisory Employees For the purposes of this Article, the parties agree that Supervisory positions are those that are not excluded under Article 2.0 above and that satisfy the following criteria:
