Geographic Area for Solicitation of DBEs. The Engineer shall seek DBEs in the same geographic area in which the solicitation for other subconsultants is made. If the Engineer cannot meet the DBE goal using DBEs from that geographic area, the Engineer shall, as a part of the effort to meet the goal, expand the search to a reasonably wider geographic area.
