Common use of Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance Act Clause in Contracts

Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance Act. The Association is subject to the requirements of the Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance Act. Accordingly, the requirements of O.C.G.A. §13-10-91 and Georgia Department of Labor Rules 300-10-1-02 are conditions of this Agreement. Compliance with these requirements shall be attested by the Association’s execution of the Contractor Affidavit if attached hereto as Addendum A, which shall become a part of this Agreement. In the event the Association employs or contracts with any subcontractor(s) in connection with the performance of the work permitted in this Agreement, the Association shall secure from such subcontractor(s) attestation of the subcontractor’s execution of the Subcontractor Affidavit attached hereto as Addendum B, which shall also become a part of this Agreement and also a part of the agreement between the Association and subcontractor. The Association shall maintain records of such attestation for inspection by the City at any time. The Association shall be required to provide copies to the City upon request. Failure to comply with these rules will result in the termination of this Agreement, where it is subsequently determined that there has been a violation of any provision of the Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance Act or implementing rules and regulations.
