German version. Neue Duftstoffbasierte Sensortechnologie zum Aufspüren von Phytophthora- Patogenen in importieren Gehölzen Die Gattung Phytophthora umfasst derzeit etwa 260 Arten in 14 phylogenetischen Gruppen. Viele der ihnen angehörenden Arten sind Pflanzenpathogene mit einem bodenbürtigen- und/oder luftbürtigen Lebensstil, die Krankheitssymptome wie Xxxxxx- und Kragenfäule, Rindennekrosen, Xxxxx- und Triebwelke sowie Fruchtfäule bei Gehölzen und krautigen Pflanzen verursachen können. Weltweit verursachen nicht-einheimische Phytophthora-Arten schwerwiegende Epidemien in der Gartenbau- und Landwirtschaft und in natürlichen Ökosystemen. Der Hauptverbreitungsweg dieser Pathogene zwischen Kontinenten und in die Umwelt ist der Transport und die Pflanzung von befallenem Pflanzenmaterial. In Europa und Nordamerika sind Baumschulen großflächig mit meist exotischen Phytophthora-Arten befallen. Aufgrund des häufigen und regelmäßigen Einsatzes von Fungiziden und fungistatischen Chemikalien werden Krankheitssymptome unterdrückt, was die Anwesenheit der Pathogene verschleiert. Die standardmäßige phytosanitäre Praxis der visuellen Inspektion von Pflanzen ist xxxxx in den meisten Fällen ungeeignet, die versteckte Anwesenheit von Phytophthora-Pathogenen zu erkennen. Im Projekt PurPest charakterisieren wir sowohl die Duftstoffe, die von Phytophthora- Arten freigesetzt werden als auch Veränderungen im Duftstoffmuster der von Phytophthora befallenen Pflanzen. Bisher haben wir artsspezifische Duftstoffmuster von 30 verschiedenen Phytophthora- und verwandten Oomyceten-Arten erhalten. Diese Erkenntnisse bilden die Grundlage für einen duftstoffbasierten Phytophthora-Sensor, der diese schädlichen und aggressiven Pathogene während der Importinspektionen, in Baumschulen und anderswo sicher aufspüren kann.

All diese biologischen Charakteristika xxxxxx die Baumwolleule zu einem bedeutenden Schädling, der sich xxxxxxx ausbreitet. Im PurPest Projekt wollen wir einen Artspezifischen Duftstoff-Sensor für die Baumwolleule entwickeln, um den Schädling einfach nachweisen zu können, z.B. während des Imports von Pflanzenmaterial. Dazu führen wir Duftstoffsammlungen und chemische Analysen von gesunden und befallenen Pflanzen durch. Wir arbeiten mit verschiedenen Wirtspflanzen (Tomate, Sonnenblume, Erbse) und vergleichen hier die Duftstoffprofile von den gesunden Pflanzen mit denen von mit Eiern oder Larven befallenen Pflanzen. Ziel ist es eine Art Marker- Duftstoff zu finden, xxxxxxx den Schaderregerbefall robust und sicher anzeigt, unabhängig von der Pflanzenart oder anderen Stressfaktoren, wie z.B. Befall anderer Schaderreger oder Umweltstress (hohe/niedrige Temperaturen, Staunässe oder Trockenheit). In dieser frühen Projektphase wissen wir bereits, dass Duftstoffe von Eiern und Larvenkot geeignet sein könnten, um unseren Schädling nachzuweisen.

  • EXECUTION VERSION Amount would exceed the Post-Effective Limit, (ii) the Dealer Group would directly or indirectly so beneficially own in excess of the Threshold Number of Shares, (iii) Dealer would directly or indirectly hold in excess of the Exchange Limit, or (iv) such delivery would result in a violation of the Counterparty Stock Ownership Restriction. If any delivery owed to Dealer hereunder is not made, in whole or in part, as a result of this provision, Counterparty’s obligation to make such delivery shall not be extinguished and Counterparty shall make such delivery as promptly as practicable after, but in no event later than one Scheduled Trading Day after, Dealer gives notice to Counterparty that, after such delivery, (i) the Share Amount would not exceed the Post-Effective Limit, (ii) the Dealer Group would not directly or indirectly so beneficially own in excess of the Threshold Number of Shares, (iii) Dealer would not directly or indirectly hold in excess of the Exchange Limit, or (iv) such delivery would not result in a violation of the Counterparty Stock Ownership Restriction, as applicable. In addition, notwithstanding anything herein to the contrary, if any delivery owed to Dealer hereunder is not made, in whole or in part, as a result of the immediately preceding paragraph, Dealer shall be permitted to make any payment due in respect of such Shares to Counterparty in two or more tranches that correspond in amount to the number of Shares delivered by Counterparty to Dealer pursuant to the immediately preceding paragraph. Counterparty represents and warrants to, and agrees with Dealer that, ownership positions of Counterparty’s common stock held by Dealer or any of its affiliates solely in its capacity as a nominee or fiduciary (where Dealer and such affiliates have no economic interest in such positions) do not constitute “ownership” by Dealer, and Dealer shall not be deemed or treated as the beneficial or constructive “owner” of such positions, in each case, for purposes of Article VIII of the LLC Operating Agreement, except for purposes of Section 8.1(d) thereof, and Counterparty shall interpret the LLC Operating Agreement in accordance with the foregoing. Dealer represents and warrants that, as of the Trade Date, if Dealer received the maximum number of Shares hereunder assuming both (i) Physical Settlement applies and (ii) no restrictions on the delivery of Shares hereunder were applicable, then the Counterparty Stock Ownership Restriction would not apply so as to limit the number of Shares that Dealer could receive hereunder.

  • Function of Joint Health and Safety Committee All incidents involving aggression or violence shall be brought to the attention of the Joint Health and Safety Committee. The Employer agrees that the Joint Health and Safety Committee shall concern itself with all matters relating to violence to staff.

  • Ombudsman A Vendor Ombudsman has been established within the Department of Financial Services. The duties of this office are found in section 215.422, F.S., which include disseminating information relative to prompt payment and assisting contractors in receiving their payments in a timely manner from a Customer.   • National Treatment and Most-favoured-nation Treatment (1) Each Contracting Party shall accord to investments of investors of the other Contracting Party, treatment which shall not be less favourable than that accorded either to investments of its own or investments of investors of any third State. (2) In addition, each Contracting Party shall accord to investors of the other Contracting Party, including in respect of returns on their investments, treatment which shall not be less favourable than that accorded to investors of any third State. (3) The provisions of paragraphs (1) and (2) above shall not be construed so as to oblige one Contracting Party to extend to the investors of the other the benefit of any treatment, preference or privilege resulting from: (a) Any existing or future free trade area, customs unions, monetary union or similar international agreement or other forms of regional cooperation to which one of the Contracting Parties is or may become a party, or (b) Any matter pertaining wholly or mainly to taxation.

  • Small and medium-sized enterprises 1. The Parties will promote a favourable environment for the development of the small and medium enterprises (SME) on the basis of strengthening of the relevant private and governmental bodies, as well as the exchange of experiences and good practices with the SME. 2. Cooperation shall include, among other subjects: (a) the designing and development of mechanisms to encourage partnership and productive chain linkage development; (b) development of human resources and management skills to increase the knowledge of the Chinese and Peruvian markets; (c) defining and developing methods and strategies for clusters development; (d) increasing access to information regarding mandatory procedures and any other relevant information for an SME exporter; (e) defining technological transference: programs oriented to transfer technological innovation to SME and to improve their productivity; (f) increasing access to information on technological promotion programs for SME and financial support and encouragement programs for SME; (g) supporting new exporting SME (sponsorship, credits and guarantees, seed capital); and (h) encouraging partnership and information exchange for SME financing institutions (credits, banks, guarantee organizations, seed capital firms). 3.
