Common use of Giving of notices Clause in Contracts

Giving of notices. Any notice to be given under this contract: (a) shall be in writing; and (b) shall be duly given if signed by or on behalf of a person duly authorised to do so by the party giving the notice and delivered by hand at, or by sending it by prepaid first class post, recorded delivery, or by facsimile transmission (with confirmation copy by prepaid first class post) or by email (where the parties agree) to, the relevant address or email address or facsimile number set out in Schedule 1.
