Certification of the bargaining unit was varied on October 2, 2006. Employees of the Freshwater Fisheries Society of BC were transferred from government service to the Society pursuant to Article 32.10 (Transfer of Employees Out of the Public Service Bargaining Unit) of the Extension to 13th Master Collective Agreement between the Province of British Columbia and the B.C. Government and Service Employees' Union. The collective agreement is the result of the melding of the provisions of the 14th Master Collective Agreement between the Province of British Columbia and the B.C. Government and Service Employees Union; the 14th Administrative Services Component agreement between the Province of British Columbia and the B.C.
