Common use of Governmental Authority Clause in Contracts

Governmental Authority. Governmental Authority" means and includes any federal, state, District of Columbia, county, municipal, or other government and any department, commission, board, bureau, agency or instrumentality thereof, whether domestic or foreign.

Governmental Authority" Authority means and includes any federal, state, District of Columbiamunicipal, countyprovincial, municipallocal, foreign or other governmental, quasi-governmental or administrative body, instrumentality, bureau, department or agency or any court, tribunal, administrative hearing body, arbitrator, arbitration panel, commission, or other government and any department, commission, board, bureau, agency similar dispute-resolving panel or instrumentality thereof, whether domestic or foreignbody.

Governmental Authority. As used in the Lease, the term “Governmental Authority" ” means and includes any federal, state, District of Columbiaregional, county, municipal, local or other government and any department, commission, board, bureaumunicipal governmental authority, agency or instrumentality thereof, whether domestic or foreignsubdivision.

Governmental Authority. “Governmental Authority" ” means and includes any: (a) nation, state, commonwealth, province, territory, county, municipality, district or other jurisdiction of any nature; (b) federal, state, District of Columbia, countylocal, municipal, foreign or other government and government; or (c) governmental or quasi-governmental authority of any nature (including any governmental division, department, agency, commission, boardinstrumentality, bureauofficial, agency organization, unit, body or instrumentality thereof, whether domestic Entity and any court or foreignother tribunal).
