Common use of Governmental Authority Clause in Contracts

Governmental Authority. “Governmental Authority” means any government or political subdivision, whether federal, state, local or foreign, or any agency, commission, instrumentality or other authority of any such government or political subdivision, or any federal, state, local or foreign court or arbitrator.

Governmental Authority. “Governmental Authority” means any government or political subdivision, whether shall mean the federal, state, local regional, county or foreignmunicipal government, or any department, agency, commission, instrumentality bureau or other similar type body obtaining authority of therefrom or created pursuant to any such government applicable statutes, ordinances, rules, regulations, orders, codes, directives or political subdivision, requirements now or any federal, state, local or foreign court or arbitratorhereafter existing.

Governmental Authority. “Governmental Authority” means Any nation or government, any government state or other political subdivisionsubdivision thereof and any court, whether federalpanel, statejudge, local or foreignboard, or any agencybureau, commission, instrumentality agency or other authority entity, body or other person exercising executive, legislative, judicial, regulatory or administrative functions of any such government or political subdivision, or any federal, state, local or foreign court or arbitratorpertaining to government.

The term “Governmental AuthorityGOVERNMENTAL AUTHORITY” means any nation or government, any union of nations or governments (including without limitation the European Union), any state, region, province, or other political subdivision of any nation, government or political subdivisionunion of nations or governments, whether federaland any municipality, state, local or foreign, or any agency, commission, instrumentality court or other authority entity exercising executive, legislative, judicial, regulatory or administrative functions of any such government or political subdivision, or any federal, state, local or foreign court or arbitratorpertaining to government.

Governmental Authority. “Governmental Authority” means Authority "shall mean any government and all foreign, federal, state or political subdivisionlocal governments, governmental institutions, public authorities and governmental entities of any nature whatsoever, and any subdivisions or instrumentalities thereof, including, but not limited to, departments, boards, bureaus, commissions, agencies, courts, administrations and panels, and any division or instrumentalities thereof, whether federal, state, local permanent or foreign, ad hoc and whether now or any agency, commission, instrumentality hereafter constituted or other authority of any such government or political subdivision, or any federal, state, local or foreign court or arbitratorexisting.

Governmental Authority. “Governmental Authority” " means any government nation or political subdivisiongovernment, whether federal, state, local or foreign, or any agency, commission, instrumentality state or other authority political subdivision thereof and any Entity properly exercising executive, legislative, judicial, regulatory or administrative functions of any such government or political subdivision, or any federal, state, local or foreign court or arbitratorgovernment.

Governmental Authority. “Governmental Authority” means shall mean any government or political subdivision(i) U.S., whether foreign, federal, state, local or foreignother government, or any (ii) governmental commission, board, body, bureau, agency, commission, instrumentality department or other judicial, regulatory or administrative authority of any such government nature, including courts, tribunals and other judicial bodies, (iii) any self-regulatory body or political subdivisionauthority, and (iv) any instrumentality or any federalentity designed to act for or on behalf of the foregoing in exercising executive, statelegislative, local judicial, regulatory or foreign court administrative functions of or arbitratorpertaining to government.

Governmental Authority. “Governmental Authority” means any government nation or political subdivisiongovernment, whether federal, any state, province, local bodies or foreignother political subdivision thereof, and any governmental, executive, legislative, judicial, administrative or regulatory agency, department, authority, instrumentality, commission, board or statutory corporation of, or any agency, commission, instrumentality corporation or other authority entity (including a trust), owned or controlled directly or indirectly by, any of any such government or political subdivision, the foregoing or any federalsimilar body and includes, statewithout limitation, local or foreign court or arbitratorthe Directorate General of Civil Aviation of Afghanistan, Directorate General of Foreign Trade and the Reserve Bank of Afghanistan .

Governmental Authority. “Governmental Authority” Authority means any government nation or political subdivisiongovernment, whether federal, state, local or foreign, or any agency, commission, instrumentality or other authority of any such government or political subdivision, or any federal, state, city, town, municipality, county, local or foreign court other political subdivision thereof or arbitratorthereto and any department, commission, board, bureau, instrumentality, agency or other entity exercising executive, legislative, judicial, regulatory or administrative functions of or pertaining to government.
