Grant Recipient. Grantee shall perform its duties hereunder as a grant recipient and not as an employee. Neither Grantee nor any agent or employee of Grantee shall be deemed to be an agent or employee of the State. Grantee shall not have authorization, express or implied, to bind the State to any agreement, liability or understanding, except as expressly set forth herein. Grantee and its employees and agents are not entitled to unemployment insurance or workers compensation benefits through the State and the State shall not pay for or otherwise provide such coverage for Grantee or any of its agents or employees. Grantee shall pay when due all applicable employment taxes and income taxes and local head taxes incurred pursuant to this Agreement. Grantee shall (a) provide and keep in force workers' compensation and unemployment compensation insurance in the amounts required by law, (b) provide proof thereof when requested by the State, and (c) be solely responsible for its acts and those of its employees and agents.
Grant Recipient. 3.1 It is agreed that Neath Port Talbot will act as the grant recipient for the Grant Funding issued by the Welsh Government to the Swansea Bay Area Planning Board (the APB).
3.2 The Responsible Authorities agree that Neath Port Talbot shall accept the offer of Grant Funding set out in the Award Letter, on behalf of the Responsible Authorities.
3.3 The Responsible Authorities undertake to and covenant with each other that they will adhere to the terms of this Agreement and will observe, perform and comply in all respect with the Conditions and will not act in a manner which places Neath Port Talbot in breach of its obligations under the Conditions.
Grant Recipient. The term ‘‘grant recipient’’ means a water- shed group that the Secretary has selected to receive a grant under section 1015a(c)(2) of this title.

Grant Recipient. The Burlington County Workforce Development Board as designated by the Burlington County Board of Commissioners is the entity responsible for the funds received from the Grantor and is responsible for all activities related to those funds. Vendor - as used in this Agreement, means the Contractor/Provider responsible for providing goods or services pursuant to this Agreement.

Grant Recipient. The Xxxxxxxx Center Association was formed as a nonprofit public benefit corporation by the Xxxxxxxx Foundation for the purpose of operating a comprehensive homeless services and housing assistance center in the former El Rey Hotel, an 11-story structure owned by the Weingart Foundation and located at 000 X. Xxx Xxxxx Xxxxxx within the Central City East subarea of what was at that time the Central Business District (“CBD”) Redevelopment Project Area. With financial assistance from the CRA/LA and other sources, the WCA opened in 1983 as the most comprehensive human services center for the homeless and housing assistance in the Western U.S., providing transitional housing, substance abuse recovery, mental health treatment, long-term case management, education, workforce development and other services. WCA has since expanded to five facilities plus a walk-in access center, all located within Central City East. Xxxxxxx X. Xxxxx serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of the WCA and is also a member of the City Center Community Advisory Committee.
Grant Recipient ought to submit a progress report of the research project to Grant Provider every six months commencing on the signing date of this contract; the progress report must be based on the form “Research Progress Report”.
