Date of Organization. Section 1 The organization of the Roanoke Valley-Alleghany Regional Commission (formerly “Fifth Planning District Commission”) shall be effective on the 25 day of August, 1969 or at such time after this date when the Charter Agreement has been adopted and signed by that governmental subdivision whose population when added to the aggregate population of those who have already adopted and signed the Charter Agreement embraces the majority of the population within the Fifth Planning District.
Date of Organization. Section 1. The organization of the Region 2000 Local Government Council, now called the Central Virginia Planning District Commission, shall be effective on the fifteenth day of September, 2000, or at such time after this date when the Charter Agreement has been adopted and signed by that governmental subdivision whose population when added to the aggregate population of those who have already adopted and signed the Charter Agreement embraces the majority of the population within Planning District Number 11.
Date of Organization. SECTION 1. The organization of the Rappahannock-Rapidan Planning District Commission shall be effective on the 1st day of January, 1971, or at such time after this date when the Charter Agreement has been adopted and signed by the governmental subdivision whose population when added to the aggregate population of those who have already been adopted and signed the Charter Agreement embraces the majority of the population within Planning District Number 9.
Date of Organization. Section 1. The organization of the Middle Peninsula Planning District Commission shall be effective on the 1st day of April, 1972, or at such time after this date when the Charter Agreement has been adopted and signed by that governmental subdivision whose population when added to the aggregate population of those who have already adopted and signed the Charter Agreement embraces the majority of the population within Planning District Number 18. July 1, 1990 November 20, 1996 The name of this organization is the Middle Peninsula Planning District Commission, hereinafter referred to as the “Commission.” The Commission was established pursuant to the Virginia Area Development Act (Title 15.1, Chapter 34, Sections 15.1-1400, et seq., Code of Virginia (1950) as amended? The organization of the West Piedmont Planning District Commission shall be effective on the 31st day of March, 1970, or at such time after this date when the Charter Agreement has been adopted and signed by that governmental subdivision whose population when added to the aggregate population of those who have already adopted and signed the Charter Agreement embraces the majority of the population within the Planning District.
Date of Organization. The organization of the Richmond Regional Planning District Commission shall be effective on the 31st day of August, 1969, or at such time after this date when the Charter Agreement has been adopted and signed by that member jurisdictions whose population when added to the aggregate population of those who have already adopted and signed the Charter Agreement embraces the majority of the population within Planning District Number 15.
Date of Organization. Section 1. The organization of the Northern Shenandoah Valley Regional Commission shall be effective on 10th day of May, 1970 or at such time after this date when the Charter Agreement has been adopted and signed by that governmental subdivision whose population when added to the aggregate population of those who have already adopted and signed that Charter Agreement embraces the majority of the population within Planning District Number 7.
