Group Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment Benefits. 909 1. EMU shall pay the cost of maintaining life insurance in an amount equal to the Faculty Member’s annual salary, rounded up to the nearest $1,000 and accidental death and dismemberment insurance benefits in an equal amount for a period of one (1) year from a Faculty Member’s first (1st) day of actual work. Commencing with the month following completion of one (1) year of coverage as provided above, EMU shall pay the cost for maintaining life insurance benefits in an amount equal to the Faculty Member’s annual salary (rounded up to the nearest $1,000) times two (2), and accidental death and dismemberment benefits in an equal amount, up to a maximum coverage level of $275,000.
