Common use of Guaranteed Seven-Day Residential Installation Clause in Contracts

Guaranteed Seven-Day Residential Installation. a. A Cable Operator shall complete all standard residential installations or modifications to service requested by customers within seven (7) business days after the order is placed, unless a later date for installation is requested. "Standard" residential installations are those located up to one hundred twenty five (125) feet from the existing distribution system. If the customer requests a nonstandard residential installation, or the Cable Operator determines that a nonstandard residential installation is required, the Cable Operator shall provide the customer in advance with a total installation cost estimate and an estimated date of completion. b. All underground cable drops to the home shall be buried at a depth of no less than twelve inches (12"), or such other depth as may be required by the Franchise Agreement or local code provisions, or if there are no applicable Franchise or code requirements, at such other depths as may be agreed to by the parties if other construction concerns preclude the twelve inch requirement , and within no more than one calendar week from the initial installation, or at a time mutually agreed upon between the Cable Operator and the customer.
