Guards. Guard positions will be worked on a triple shift basis and the hours of work shall be an eight- (8) hour shift. There shall be shift differential of seventy-five cents ($.75) per hour for the 4:00 p.m. to midnight shift and seventy-five cents ($.75) per hour for the 12:00 midnight to 8:00 am shift. Employees in these positions shall have one –half (1/2) hour for lunch as near mid-shift as practical. Changes in the shift system shall be discussed with the Union prior to implementation. This classification takes into account weekend premium pay.
Guards. Police station guards shall be paid eighty (80) hours every two (2) weeks.
Guards. Follow the work schedule and meet exactly to the work sessions. If you are unable to work, the group leader must be notified as soon as possible, at the latest before the guard starts.
Guards. Plate or mesh safety guards shall be provided for electrical apparatus and moving parts of machinery. The guards shall be of approved design and in accordance with approved National Standards. The Contractor shall ensure that stationary points requiring access, such as lubricating and fluid inspection points, are safe and outside the guards. Guards shall be designed so that they are secure but can be removed without disturbing other parts of the plant. Adjustment to machinery in motion shall be possible without the removal of guards.

When an employee is called in for a shift of less than 8 hours, he/she may be called in again provided there is a 7 hour break between shifts, and that the total number of hours worked does not exceed 8 hours in the 24 hour period. In order to improve the work-life balance for full time Guards, and so as to eliminate additional costs to the employer, it is agreed that cutoff for afternoon shift shall be on Friday of the scheduled week. The Saturday shift will not accrue overtime, but will be included in the following week’s wage payment. This will meet the requirement for five shifts per week, totaling 40 hours.
Guards. SELLER SHALL PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING: Exposed moving parts shall be provided with guards which meet the requirements of OSHA. Guards shall be fabricated of 14‐xxxx xxxxx, 1/2‐13‐15 expanded metal screen to provide visual inspection of moving parts without removal of the guard. Guards shall be galvanized after fabrication and shall be designed to be readily removable to facilitate maintenance of moving parts. Reinforced holes shall be provided. Lube fittings shall be extended through guards.
