Uniforms. Contractors and their subcontractors shall be properly uniformed prior to entering any facility. The Contractor’s or their subcontractor’s company name must be identifiable on the uniform.

Uniforms. The Employer will furnish and maintain (launder and repair) without charge such uniforms which the Employer requires the employees to wear. These remain the property of the Employer and shall not be worn other than on duty. The nature, colour, and style of uniforms, and the requirements of each group of employees in respect thereto shall be determined by the Employer.
Uniforms. The provisions of this Article apply to employees who are required to wear uniforms. The Employer shall provide the employee with five (5) sets of required uniform trousers and shirts (short and long sleeve) and the employee will be provided with sufficient uniform replacements to maintain five (5) serviceable uniforms. The Employer shall furnish American made uniform products to the extent possible. All Department of Transportation employees shall continue to be subject to their Administration's existing policy. A. Subsequent to the original issue, if uniforms are in such a state of disrepair as to require replacement, they will be returned to the Supply Officer for a replacement. Replacement needs will be verified by appointing authority, or designee. B. All uniforms shall be in new condition and fit properly. C. New employees shall receive three uniforms, after 5 months they shall receive 2 additional uniforms to provide them with their 5 sets of uniform trousers and shirts. D. Where an employee's position and/or duties requires the wearing of safety shoes, the Employer shall either provide employees with such shoes, or provide reasonable reimbursement to employees for the purchase of shoes. E. The Employer shall purchase or provide reasonable reimbursement to employees who are required to wear non-prescription safety glasses. For employees who wear prescription glasses, where non-prescription safety glasses do not provide adequate protection, the Employer shall provide reasonable reimbursement for prescription safety glasses. F. The Employer shall provide reasonable reimbursement to employees for replacement and/or repairs of non-uniform clothing or other items worn by employees that are damaged by clients or members of the public. G. The appropriate labor management committee shall discuss other issues associated with uniform policies.
Uniforms. Where an employee is required by the employer to wear special clothing, such clothing shall be provided and laundered by the employer at his/her expense. Provided that alternative arrangements in respect of the supply and laundering of clothing may be made by agreement between an employer and the Union.
