Common use of Half-Tablet Program Clause in Contracts

Half-Tablet Program. The Half-Tablet Program will allow Enrollees to pay a reduced Copay on selected “once daily dosage” medications. The Half-Tablet Program allows an Enrollee to obtain a 30-day supply (15 tablets) of the higher strength medication when written by the Physician to take “1/2 tablet daily” of those medications on the approved list. The Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee will determine additions and deletions to the approved list. The Half-Tablet Program is strictly voluntary and the Enrollee's decision to participate should follow consultation with and the agreement of his/her Physician.
