Hazardous Materials Spill Containment, Control and Cleanup. If safe to do so, Purchaser shall take immediate action to contain and control all hazardous material spills. Purchaser shall ensure that enough quick response spill kits capable of absorbing 10 gallons of oil, coolant, solvent or contaminated water are available on site to quickly address potential spills from any piece of equipment at all times throughout active operations. If large quantities of bulk fuel/other hazardous materials are stored on site, Purchaser must be able to effectively control a container leak and contain & recover a hazmat spill equal to the largest single on site storage container volume. (HAZWOPER reg. 29CFR 1910.120 (j) (1) (vii)).
