Common use of Hazardous Substance Clause in Contracts

Hazardous Substance. For purposes of this Article VII, “Hazardous Substance” means any substance, matter, material, waste or pollutant, the generation, storage, disposal, handling, release (or threatened release), treatment, discharge or emission of which is regulated, prohibited or limited under:

For purposes of this Article VII, The term “Hazardous Substance” means shall mean any substancehazardous or toxic substances, mattermaterials or wastes, materialor pollutants or contaminants as defined, waste listed or pollutantregulated by any Environmental Law or by common law decision including, the generationwithout limitation, storage, disposal, handling, release (chlorinated solvents; petroleum products or threatened release), treatment, discharge or emission of which is regulated, prohibited or limited under:by products; asbestos; and polychlorinated biphenyl.
