Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency. Response (HAZWOP) Members who are trained in accordance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration Regulation 29 CFR 1910.120 (e) suggested core criteria or equivalent training curriculum guidelines, who maintain current certifications. When the employer assigns employees to supervise the handling, sampling, manifesting, monitoring, treating or disposal of hazardous waste, they shall receive a premium of two dollars ($2.00) per hour over the applicable wage rate.
