Hearing Services Hearing exams. Medically necessary hearing exams as prescribed by a physician are covered. Audiologists may perform a hearing test. Hearing tests (diagnostic) Diagnostic hearing tests (such as audiometric hearing tests) as prescribed by a physician are covered under this agreement. Hearing Aid This agreement provides hearing aid coverage, in accordance with Rhode Island General Law § 27-20-46, for covered members up to the maximum benefit limit listed in the Summary of Medical Benefits.
