Heating and Ventilation. The employer shall install, maintain in good condition and operate adequate heating and ventilating systems, and shall comply at least with the minimum requirements of any applicable law.

Heating and Ventilation. 4.8.1 Make-up Air Make-up air will be supplied to the recycled fiber plant from an 80,000 CFM, direct gas-fired, air handling unit located on the roof of the paper machine building. The air will be distributed in the plant through a duct system. Make-up air will be heated to maintain approximately 55 degrees F during winter design conditions.

All parts of the Secure Training Centre where Trainees live, work or train or which are used by Trainees for recreational purposes will have adequate heating, lighting and ventilation. All sanitation facilities in the Secure Training Centre will be kept clean. All outside areas within the designated area of the Secure Training Centre will be kept clean. The proposed Cleaning Programme will be submitted to the Authority for its approval 4 months before the Further Scheduled Opening Date. Inspections of the Units and other facilities at the Secure Training Centre used by Trainees will be carried out by appropriate members of management at the Secure Training Centre for health and safety purposes once every week. A system for management to conduct regular comprehensive inspections of the physical state of the Secure Training Centre will be agreed with the Authority 4 months before the Further Scheduled Opening Date. The medical practitioner or practitioner employed at the Secure Training Centre will be required to carry out a Hygiene Inspection and to submit a report to the Authority as soon as reasonably practicable thereafter once every 6 months on the general hygiene of the Secure Training Centre. During the month immediately following the Variation Date, plans for liaison and co-operation with external bodies such as health and safety inspectors and environmental health officers will be submitted to the Authority for its approval.
Heating and Ventilation. Mechanical ventilation is provided to toilets, toilet lobbies and cleaners by mechanical extract fans. Heating is provided to the office, toilets, reception and circulation areas by Slough Estate MTHW district heating (steam) system supplying low pressure hot water heating system radiators with thermostatic valves and timer controls. Blanked off connections are provided for warehouse heating by tenant if required. Domestic hot water is provided by point of use heaters in first floor Plant Room and Cleaners Room.
