Common use of HHS Inspection Clause in Contracts

HHS Inspection. Upon written request, Contractor agrees to make available to HHS or its designee, Contractor’s internal practices, books, and records relating to the use and disclosure of PHI and EPHI received from, or created or received on behalf of, the City in a time or manner designated by HHS for purposes of HHS determining the City’s compliance with the HIPAA Privacy and Security Requirements.

HHS Inspection. Upon written request, Contractor CONTRACTOR agrees to make available to HHS or its designee, ContractorCONTRACTOR’s internal practices, books, and records relating to the use and disclosure of PHI and EPHI received from, or created or received on behalf of, the City THE COUNTY in a time or manner designated by HHS for purposes of HHS determining the CityTHE COUNTY’s compliance with the HIPAA Privacy and Security Requirements.

Upon written request, Contractor VENDOR agrees to make available to HHS or its designee, ContractorVENDOR’s internal practices, books, and records relating to the use and disclosure of PHI and EPHI received from, or created or received on behalf of, the City COMMUNITY in a time or manner designated by HHS for purposes of HHS determining the CityCOMMUNITY’s compliance with the HIPAA Privacy and Security Requirements.

Upon written request, Contractor VENDOR agrees to make available to HHS or its designee, ContractorVENDOR’s internal practices, books, and records relating to the use and disclosure of PHI and EPHI received from, or created or received on behalf of, the City Community in a time or manner designated by HHS for purposes of HHS determining the CityCommunity’s compliance with the HIPAA Privacy and Security Requirements.

Upon written request, Contractor agrees to make available to HHS the Secretary of Health and Human Services (“HHS”) or its his designee, ContractorVENDOR’s internal practices, books, and records relating to the use and disclosure of PHI and EPHI received from, or created or received on behalf of, the City DEPARTMENT in a time or manner designated by HHS for purposes of HHS determining the City’s compliance with the HIPAA Privacy and Security Requirements.

Upon written request, Contractor AGENT agrees to make available to HHS or its designee, ContractorAGENT’s internal practices, books, and records relating to the use and disclosure of PHI and EPHI received from, or created or received on behalf of, the City CHC in a time or manner designated by HHS for purposes of HHS determining the CityCHC’s compliance with the HIPAA Privacy and Security Requirements.

Upon written request, and subject to compliance with all HIPAA requirements, Contractor agrees to make available to HHS or its designee, Contractor’s internal practices, books, and records relating to the use and disclosure of PHI and EPHI received from, or created or received on behalf of, the City in a time or manner designated by HHS for purposes of HHS determining the City’s compliance with the HIPAA Privacy and Security Requirements.
