Common use of High Risk Industries Clause in Contracts

High Risk Industries. There are certain industry categories and transaction types which American Express considers to be high fraud risk in relation to which we may place you in a fraud full recourse programme (as described in Schedule A, paragraph 5.d above) for any Charge that we are unable to collect due to fraud. The transaction types that we consider to be high risk are transactions at automated fuel dispensers and Digital Delivery Transactions. We reserve the right to add additional transaction types and specific merchant categories to this list from time to time.
