Footwear. Where an employee is required by the College or by legislation, in order to perform his/her duties, to acquire and wear protective footwear, the employee shall provide the College with proof of purchase by March 1 each year and the College shall reimburse such employee, on the first pay day in April in each year, up to a maximum of one hundred and fifty dollar ($150.00). In situations other than the foregoing, the College may, in its discretion, (which discretion shall not be unreasonably exercised) reimburse such expense where it is recommended by the health and safety committee constituted under the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
Footwear. The Hospital will pay a safety footwear allowance of $0.03 per hour paid to a maximum of forty-five dollars ($45.00) per calendar year to each employee who is required by the Hospital to wear safety footwear. Such footwear must be Hospital and CSA approved.
Footwear. In pharmacies where the use of special footwear at work is a requirement, the employer shall provide permanently employed workers with one pair of shoes each year. Alternatively, a payment of ISK 4,300 per year may be made to the employee each year to cover costs incurred in connection with shoe purchases. This sum may be transferred between years, with double the sum being paid every second year. If workers are obliged to attend publicity or promotional meetings outside regular working hours, this shall be taken into account when their wages and terms are determined. The parties agree that student pharmacist technicians shall draw wages in accordance with the wage agreements of ordinary shop assistants.
Footwear. (i) The Employer shall provide, and employees shall wear, black polished leather shoes or boots fitted with rubber heels of a style acceptable to the PJLMC.
(ii) In those circumstances where the Employer is unable to provide such shoes or boots due to the lack of appropriate size selections from the general issue, then the Employer shall either supply alternative footwear on an individual basis or, alternatively, such individuals shall be paid an amount of ninety dollars ($90) in lieu of such specialized issue and shall then be required to purchase a similar type of shoe or boot at their own expense.
(iii) It is understood that upon surrender of boots deemed to be unserviceable that the individual authorized by the Employer will determine if footwear should be resoled or replaced. Where approved, the employee will be reimbursed for resoling expenses by the Employer upon presentation of receipts.
(iv) The Employer agrees to provide shoes to an employee where a medical practitioner certifies that orthopaedic footwear is required to be worn.
Footwear. Employees in the unit may wear military-style black leather boots that retain a shine, except when the Class A uniform is worn on formal occasions.
Footwear. Where the employer specifies that a medical radiation technologist is to wear a particular type of duty shoe, two pairs shall be supplied free of charge to every whole time medical radiation technologist or an allowance of ( $150 from 1 July 2006) per annum shall be paid in lieu.
Footwear. 5.1 Where the employer specifies that a medical imaging technologist is to wear a particular type of duty shoe, two pairs shall be supplied free of charge to every whole time medical imaging technologist or an allowance of ( $150 from 1 July 2006) per annum shall be paid in lieu.
5.2 Where duty shoes are specified, six pairs of duty; socks, stockings or pantyhose shall be supplied free of charge or an allowance of ($36.93 from 1 July 2006) per annum shall be paid in lieu.
5.3 In the case of a medical imaging technologist who is employed part time, a proportionate part of those allowances shall be paid as applicable.
Footwear. (i) Employees will receive a $100.00 footwear allowance upon commencement of employment.
(ii) A footwear allowance, to a maximum of $100.00 per year, shall be paid on the basis of $0.048 per hour to include regular hours and call-back hours paid. Such allowance shall be paid as a lump sum payment annually on the closest pay period prior to March 31st of each subsequent year. • Two (2) pair of extrication gloves
Footwear. All employees shall be either be provided with footwear or given a voucher to allow them to purchase suitable footwear from designated footwear providers and footwear ranges. Orthotic adjustments will be funded by the employer. Footwear so purchased shall be replaced on a fair wear and tear basis.
Footwear. CAS approved rubber-type sole, green patch, work shoes or work boots must be worn while on duty. The Employer will provide an annual total cost reimbursement of up to $75.00. Receipts must be submitted prior to December 15 of each year to receive this reimbursement.
