High School and Middle School Teaching Periods. A. No high school or middle school teacher shall be required to teach more than five (5) periods of more than fifteen (15) minutes in duration per day, except as specified in Article 21-4. B. No MBU shall have more than one regular period of fifteen minutes or less per day. C. Advisory/Conference Period: Schools with grades 6-12 may establish during the day advisory/conference periods once a week or more. To determine schedule, number of students per section and frequency, Administration shall seek school council recommendation. MBUs shall not be responsible for planning lessons or instruction. In order to track student location and participation, it may be necessary for teachers to take attendance during this time. This would not extend the regular 7.5 hour workday and would not affect the planning period and would not be eligible for over cap.
