Recommendations for Improvement. A. Recommendations for improvement shall be provided to ESPs upon recognition of any deficiencies. Recommendations for Improvement. Recommendations should be directed to a specific entity so there is no confusion regarding who is responsible for implementation. The response of the entity should be included in the management letter, immediately following the recommendation. Also, the auditor may wish to comment on “good practices” (if any) that were developed by the implementing partner that should be shared with other project personnel.

Initiation of conferences with evaluator and MBU to plan positive moves toward improvement of the MBU's performance; 4. Guidance for the MBU toward professional growth may include opportunities to attend workshops, inservices or conferences which will lead to professional growth in areas identified as deficiencies; 5. Observation, continued and sustained, by the evaluator to note day-to-day lessons and their inter-relationships; 6. Maintenance and expansion of the collection of professional literature with assigned reading, designed to suggest possible solutions to identified problems.
Recommendations for Improvement. 7.2 Except in the case of an investigation of suspected misconduct, no observation of employee performance will be conducted in a secret or surreptitious manner. Performance deficiencies, complaints or concerns will be promptly brought to the attention of the employee, to ensure the employee opportunity to correct the deficiency. 7.3 Food service workers and custodians will be evaluated by the department supervisor or building administrator, as determined by the District. As a part of the evaluation process, chief custodians and xxxx managers will provide substantive and meaningful input to the department supervisors, based on their day-to-day observations of staff at the work site. 7.4 In the event an employee is given an evaluation with recommendation for improvement, the employee will be given a reasonable amount of time to implement the recommendations. 7.5 The employee will have the opportunity to write a rebuttal to his/her evaluation. 7.6 An employee shall be given a copy of any evaluation. 7.7 Evaluation forms are in Appendix 2.

When a supervisor perceives a unit member’s work performance is less than satisfactory, the unit member shall be notified at a conference prior to his/her annual performance review with sufficient time to improve. If the supervisor determines that an improvement plan is necessary for a permanent unit member, the improvement plan shall be in writing in sufficient detail to advise the unit member of the required goals and objectives. The supervisor shall meet with the unit member concerning whether the goals and objectives have been met no later than 30 days prior to the next formal performance review. B. Any negative performance review shall include specific recommendations for improvement. The unit member has the right to review and respond to any derogatory evaluation. C. Letter of understanding (Performance Review Form – Appendix D.) On the performance review form, performance ratings shall be: U Unsatisfactory N Needs Improvement S Satisfactory C Commendable and E Excellent Any unit member receiving a rating of less than satisfactory shall have a written justification on the negotiated performance review form.
