Pollution Control The Employer and the Union agree to limit all forms of environmental pollution.
Performance Bonds Buyer shall have obtained, or caused to be obtained, in the name of Buyer, replacements for Seller’s and/or Seller’s Affiliates’ bonds, letters of credit and guarantees, and such other bonds, letters of credit and guarantees to the extent required by Section 7.05.
MORTGAGE BOND If the sale is subject to the Purchaser obtaining a mortgage bond as per clause 12 of the terms and conditions: Mortgage bond amount R Institution If not completed, sale is unconditional and clause 12 of the terms and conditions does not apply. Claims on Payment Bonds Claims on Payment Bonds must be sent directly to the Contractor and his surety in accordance with Tex. Gov’t Code § 2253.041. All Payment Bond claimants are cautioned that no lien exists on the funds unpaid to the Contractor on such Contract, and that reliance on notices sent to the Owner may result in loss of their rights against the Contractor and/or his surety. The Owner is not responsible in any manner to a claimant for collection of unpaid bills, and accepts no such responsibility because of any representation by any agent or employee.
Performance Bond and Payment Bond The Contractor shall furnish both a performance bond and a payment bond in the exact form set forth in Section 7, (Forms) of these General Conditions.
Energy Conservation The Contractor agrees to comply with mandatory standards and policies relating to energy efficiency which are contained in the state energy conservation plan issued in compliance with the Energy Policy and Conservation Act.
Erosion Control a. The Purchaser shall construct slash and debris erosion barriers, dips, water bars or ditches in skid trails and landings as directed by the Forest Officer.
CLEAN AIR AND WATER POLLUTION CONTROL ACT Customer Purchase Orders using federal funds must contain a provision that requires the Contractor to agree to comply with all applicable standards, orders or regulations issued pursuant to the Clean Air Act (42 U.S.C. 7401-7671q) and the Federal Water Pollution Control Act as amended (33 U.S.C. 1251-1387). Violations must be reported to the Federal awarding agency and the Regional Office of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Pursuant to the Federal Rule above, Contractor certifies that it is in compliance with all applicable provisions of the Clean Air Act (42 U.S.C. 7401-7671q) and the Federal Water Pollution Control Act as amended (33 U.S.C. 1251-1387) and will remain in compliance during the term of the Contract.
Contract Bonds Contract bonds shall conform to the requirements of Section 103.05.
Savings Bonds 1. The Employer agrees to include employees in the existing system of payroll deduction through which an employee may purchase United States Savings Bonds.
