Home Nursing. Specialty Emergency Services will pay for home-based nursing for treatment such as anti-biotic therapy, injections or wound dressings by a qualified nurse, usually following discharge from hospital or on a case- by-case basis, after approval by a Specialty Emergency Services Doctor, up to a maximum of 30 days. This benefit is not to provide personal assistance, but to provide medical care.
