Common use of Hospital Cash Benefit Clause in Contracts

Hospital Cash Benefit. We will provide a Hospital Cash Benefit specified in the Policy Schedule or Certificate of Insurance for each continuous and completed period of 24 hours of Hospitalisation of the Insured Person during the Policy Period for treatment of an Illness or Injury provided that: (i) This Benefit shall be payable for a maximum number of days specified in the Policy Schedule or Certificate of Insurance, per Hospitalization event in respect of an Insured Person; (ii) A Deductible as specified in the Policy Schedule or Certificate of Insurance is applicable under the Benefit; (iii) This Benefit shall not be payable for more than the number of days per Policy Year as specified in the Policy Schedule or Certificate of Insurance.
